American Rivers re Gas Drilling in Delaware River Watershed: “This is one disaster we can avoid.”

VIDEO:  The Academy of Natural Sciences has posted video clips from their Marcellus Shale forum.  One clip shows an excellent presentation by Dr. Michel Boufadel, Ph.D., P.E., of Temple University’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Dr. Boufadel demonstrates that toxic liquids may move underground in surprising ways, over years and decades, contaminating entire aquifers.

NOAA has called Dr. Boufadel to the Gulf of Mexico at this time.
