Why: Tom Corbett took nearly a million dollars from the gas drillers in campaign contributions.  He is so extreme in his pro-drilling stance that he is not only failing to protect the Delaware River watershed or any other watershed from drilling —  he also filled his transition team with gas drilling lobbyists, including one for Cabot Oil and Gas, which contaminated Dimock.Pennsylvania is becoming heaven, for investors– including investors from France and Norway and the global market, buying up shares in multinational companies drilling here but based in Texas, Canada, Oklahoma, and elsewhere. We have to be our own knight in shining armor here, cause our next governor sure is stacking the already lopsided deck for industry! Corbett has already promised to overturn  Pennsylvania’s own DCNR, which has forcefully said there is no more forest land to lease without compromising Pennsylvania’s “sustainable forest” certification.IT’S A BAD DEAL! PEOPLE ARE BEING POISONED and left on their own to sue giant corporations, and our beautiful treasures are being stolen. We need to make it clear: Pennsylvanians don’t want gas drilling.

Not a single permit should even be considered anywhere in the state until the ENTIRE Halliburton Loophole is closed and the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Clean Air Act, and Superfund Law are completely restored. Not a single permit anywhere until the EPA has finished its study and a cumulative impact assessment is done for each watershed.

STOP GLOBAL WARMING: throw our resources into sustainable energy development — NOW, not later.

SHALE GAS DRILLING HURTS HUMAN HEALTH.
SHALE GAS DRILLING DEGRADES WATER.
SHALE GAS DRILLING HURTS MANY AND BENEFITS FEW.

Arrogant, elite corporations should not be running this show — when they leave, this is where we LIVE.

WE WANT CLEAN WATER AND AIR, HEALTH AND JUSTICE — AND WE WANT IT NOW!
