Lycoming County, PA. – Area residents turned out in large numbers at a recent PA state Department of Environmental Protection hearing on the proposed fracked gas power plant for Clinton Township. I am writing to urgently request that you deny the permit for the Moxie power plant in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. This shale gas plant would harm the health of residents, who live in an Environmental Justice area. It would accelerate climate change. And, there is no demonstrated need for it. Don’t rubber-stamp this power plant.
